Illuminati 2013, the Annual Function of Pacific Institute of Fashion Technology and Mass Communication was organized today evening at Sukhadia Rangmanch. A fashion show on the theme of Aryan, Mughal, Khaadi and Bridal wears rocked the show and left the audience amazed.

Well known faces from the fashion industry of India, including Iris Mathi, Runa Laha, Jyotipriya Sood, Himakshi, Kesh Karishma, Preeti Arya, Puneet Katyal and others walked the ramp which was directed by Shravankumar Ramaswami, Fashion Designer. The dresses which models put on were designed and prepared by the students of the institute in the guidance of Shai Lobo, International Choreographer.

The show started with lamp lighting ceremony, which was done by Venugopal, Architect; Ashish Agrawal, Finance Secretary, Paher; Leela Agrawal, Sheetal Agrawal and Ankit Agrawal; Sharad Kothari, Registrar; Dr. Mahendra Sojatia, Director, PIBS and Ritu Bose, Chief Advisor who also welcomed the guests.

After the Ganesh Vandana, models started theme based ramp walks. Audience applauded on every walk and relished the dance pieces which were based on Aryan theme.

“Making of Illuminati 2013”, a documentary film on a year of preparations ‘behind the scenes’ of the event was also presented in the show.

Solo dance by Ali and Aarya Agrawal along with the Group dance performances of Azad group, ABCD group gathered rounds of applaud. Jewellery round was also one of the attractions in the event.
