The day is getting over with a hope of another beautiful day to come tomorrow. The city of lakes is already swinging in a mood of celebration. Christmas was enjoyed, vacations are planned, New Year eve is approaching and another day at Shilpgram is over.
Today on 5th day of Shilpgram Festival there was more crowd than any other day. Especially, Shoppers made it shopping many rare forms of art works by craftsmen from different Indian states. I loved the jute bags from Assam and classic craft of iron made structures of insects.
Young girls were excited to have a photo with highly make-up and dressed artist known as Behrupiya from Dausa district of Rajasthan.
The food zones were full with boiled baby corns, pakodas and chat counters. The best way to see Shilpgram is to get lost in it. You will see faces with different emotions, lively expressions and twinkling eyes.
Our 3 hours in Shilpgram passed like few minutes and still I feel famished. Let’s make a dip into the classic photography of Akhtar Khan who is expert in giving life to a soulless picture.
