We have come a long way. Almost everything has gone technically smart or is being converted into a piece of technology. Traditional pieces are now going extinct. Let us simply take a look at some old and traditional things which very few of us get to see now or even get an experience of. These old systems were part of every household long back. They can still be found in villages, but developing cities do not get to see them on a day to day basis. Let ‘s just go through these traditional pieces before they become a part of history books and museums.
hand made cloth dolls…every girl’s best friend
gilli danda- we don’t have that kind of place to enjoy this game anymore
an all time favourite of daadi and nani…remember the way used to fan us when we slept on summer nights
cooking vessels…food was so tasty when cooked in these on the choolha given here below
mitti ka tava locally known as keldi gave the unmatchable taste of chapatis
toys made especially for children to enjoy household activities like adults
manual masala grinder…made with a special kind of stone…used for making chutneys
swing made from tyre…great ways to “recycle” old stuff
“ghatti” used to grind pulses and wheat… a great exerciser for ladies
“suraahi” for cooling water…sleek and beautiful…used to be kept in all rooms
