Unaware of Their Day: Not So Happy Children
Government plans to educate children from poor financial back ground. Apart from education and vocational training, special schools provides nutritious meals, health care & monthly stipend. But the fact is what we see from our eyes, children working on tea stalls, restaurants, automobile workshops and many other places.
Children’s Day is celebrated on the Birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru as a tribute to his fondness for children. The Day reminds us, our commitment towards welfare of children and education so they can lead their life as dreamed by Chacha Nehru.

But the fact is what we see from our eyes, children working on tea stalls, restaurants, automobile workshops and many other places.
Most pinching fact is that these children don’t even know the significance of this day. Ramesh a 15 year old child from Iswal village near Udaipur is working in automobile workshop from past 3 years proves the fact by his bare expressions. I saw many such children passing over while traveling round the city.
Though we all know that this is a very big problem, but do not the solution.
