Bharat Biotech Intranasal Vaccine is currently available on CoWIN. The vaccination costs Rs 800 in private hospitals and Rs 325 in government facilities. The country's first intranasal COVID vaccination will be available as a booster dosage for persons over the age of 18 in the fourth week of January. 

The needle-free vaccination is now accessible in private hospitals and may be given as a preventive dose to people who have already had two doses of either Covidshield or Covaxin. The intranasal vaccine iNCOVACC is a recombinant replication deficient adenovirus vectored vaccine with a pre-fusion stabilized spike protein.

This vaccine was evaluated in clinical studies as a primary dosage schedule as well as a heterologous booster dose for patients who had previously received two doses of either Covidshield or Covaxin. The Union Health Ministry has authorized this vaccination as a booster dose.
