Taking a huge technological leap, Udaipur is set to have all its citizen’s health data linked to their mobile number. As a result of this initiative all the past health information will be available at the click of a button at Government at private clinics.

Siddharth Sihag, CEO, Udaipur Smart City Ltd., informed that the initiative will first be kick-started from ward no. 10. As part of the campaign, an enrolment camp will be organised on Monday, Aug 8, 2016. 100 cards will be made on the occasion. Post that all the health information of the applicants will be synced with their mobile numbers. After the pilot phase with 100, the entire ward will be taken online and finally the services will be rolled out across all wards.

Once the participants have their health information synced with their mobile numbers, whenever they go for their next check-up at Government or private set-ups, the doctors will be able to get  a ready access to their past medical history, diseases, tests, medicines taken, medicines being continued etc. This would enable provision of better consultation.
