While addressing a press conference, Dr Anand Gupta, director of Aravali Hospital informed that Aravali Trauma Center and Aravali Critical Care are going to be launched on 29th Nov. The hospital has 21 Beds ICU ward for responding critical patients of heart attack, severe injury and paralysis. The emergency service will be provided 24 hrs by well known doctors of Ahmadabad including Dr M Farukh Memon, Dr Jigar Mehta, Dr Sandeep Vaghela, Dr Saumil Singhvi and their teams.

All over there will be 8 staff from Ahmadabad and 12 nursing staff from Udaipur, all well trained by team of critical care from Ahmadabad specialist in tackling emergency situations.

Dr Gupta said that, the hospital is not focused on financial growth but saving life of patients and providing them support and best service with low fees. The patients with serious condition will get urgent medical response in Golden Hour to save his/her life.

There will be 2 doctors available all 24 hours in the hospital. Out of 21 beds, 13 will be ICU and 8 beds will be at step-down to shift the out of danger patient from ICU to step down. Moreover after bringing the patient to out-of-danger, the decision of further treatment will be left on patient himself and there will be no pressurizing from doctors.

Dr Gupta informed that, in 1972 Anil Clinic was the first diagnostic center started by Dr S.B Gupta at Maharana Bhopal Hospital; Dr S.B Gupta’s motive was to provide best medical services in low rates. Following their motto, Aravali Hospitals opened 9 centers in different cities including Udaipur, Bhilwara, Mandsaur, Ajmer, Jaipur and Baroda, a new center will be open in Baroda from 6th Dec.

Dr Farukh Memon and Dr Jigar Mehta are managing the critical care unit of many hospitals of Ahmadabad like Rajasthan Hospital, Jeevraj Mehta Cardiac ICU, Shifa Multi-specialty ICU, Siddhi Vinayak, GCS Medical College and Ashirwad Hospital. Both of them have very significant role in developing the concept of critical care in Gujarat.
