October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.

It is a worldwide annual campaign taking place in October, involving thousands of organizations, to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Geetanjali Cancer Centre is organizing “Gulabi October” to get as many people as possible involved in raising awareness and promoting Breast Self-Awareness (BSE).

 Geetanjali Hospital has  organized  Breast Cancer Awareness Program at  Sunrise College of Nursing. About 40 girls participated in the event. The girl students were made aware of the prevention and treatment of breast cancer by the Cancer Centre doctors of GMCH. Students participated with great enthusiasm in this initiative.
