On Friday November 8,2023, a meeting was conducted in the district auditorium as part of the National Pulse Polio Campaign. The session was guided by District Collector Arvind Poswal and chaired by CEO Kirti Rathore of the District Council.
During the meeting, CEO Rathore provided instructions to all department officials. They were tasked with ensuring the success of the campaign by administering polio drops to children at the Anganwadi Centers. The emphasis was placed on the importance of this effort in eradicating polio and protecting the health of the community.
During the National Pulse Polio Campaign, Dr. Ashok Aditya, RCHO, highlighted that a total of 408,932 children in the district will receive polio drops. On the first day, kids aged 0 to 5 years will be administered the vaccine at designated polio booths. Subsequently, on the second and third days, a concerted effort will be undertaken to visit every household, ensuring that eligible children receive the polio vaccine.
