Over 5 crore of Indian population is suffering from Diabetes and if this is not controlled in coming years this figure is going to increase drastically which will be harmful for the society as well to the nation.

These views were expressed by Dr. D.C. Sharma, Head, Endocrinology, RNT Medical College at the Multi-speciality medical camp held at Chitragupt Sabha Bhawan on Oct 16.

He in his talk, educate the audience about the causes of Diabetes and also guided them on how to take care of this disease that is increasing on regular and daily basis in India. It was really disheartening to know the facts and figures that he showed on the increasing ratio of Diabetes in India especially in the early age and in children. Dr. Sharma also suggested some remedies and essential measures to be taken up care to protect individuals from Diabetes.

This multi-speciality Medical check up camp helped the public to get them examined on various health related issues like; Dental, Gyne, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Psychological counselling etc. Reputed doctors including Dr. Vimlesh Mathur, Dr. Vishnu Mathur, Dr. O.D. Mathur, Dr. Harish Mathur,Dr. D.M. Mathur provided their counselling and precautions to be taken care for the prevention from various diseases.
