Coronavirus suspects need not wait for 3 days for the investigation report. A kit from Pune has reached Udaipur's RNT Medical College and this kit will provide report in a day. 

People who are suffering from the symptoms similar to coronavirus are required to wait for 3 days for the investigation reports as the samples are sent to Jaipur and the victims are kept in isolation wards until the report arrives. Now that the investigation kit is available in Udaipur, the reports will be provided in a day and patients will not have to undergo isolation for a long duration.

As informed by DR Lakhan Poswal, the kit has a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) machine that will provide reports within a day. 7 reports can be derived in a day. The kit is being tested and will soon be used for the suspects in Udaipur. It may be noted that corona suspects had to wait in isolation ward for 3 days and their reports turned out to be negative. This scene will be eased to a great extent and suspects will have to wait for just a day to find out if they are victims or not.

On Thursday, 1000 plus people were screened out of which 322 were foreign tourists, 187 hotel employees and 500 plus other residents in Saheli Nagar. A total of 40000 samples have been taken till date and 13 were sent to Jaipur for investigations. Fortunately all the reports came out to be negative.
