Cycle rally – International Yoga day on 21st June

Wednesday 21st June is International Yoga day. A cycle rally was organised today to give the message of importance of Yoga.
Preparations are on for the International Yoga day…yoga which is an age old method of staying healthy in mind and body.
District administration, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Development Trust, Department of Ayurveda, Patanjali Yoga Committee and NGOs together organised a cycle rally today to spread the message of importance of yoga during the pre-preparations for International Yoga day to be celebrated on 21st June. The rally was flagged off from the Municipal Corporation campus by Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, Proffessor Mahesh Dixit-Principal of Ayurveda College, Nodal officer Babulal Jain and Mahesh Jetha. From here the rally covered Delhi gate, Court Circle, Swaroop Sagar, Moti Magri and ended at Fatehsagar pal with a Yoga Protocol rehearsal. Message for importance of environment conservation was also given through the E-rickshaws. An appeal was made to all present to practice yoga regularly for good health.
ADM City OP Bunkar said that rehearsals will be done at Gandhi Ground on 20th June early morning between 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. All schools conducting yoga sessions will be participating in the International Yoga day.
