Recently appointed Superintendent of MB Hospital, Dr Vinay Joshi carried out a detailed survey of the hospital premises and took debriefing sessions with the hospital doctors and staff.

Post the meetings, Dr Joshi said that the Emergency department will soon be expanded. Work has already been initiated towards the same. Central Oxygen system will also be established which will facilitate reduced dependency on oxygen cylinders.

Parking outside the emergency will also be streamlined. No vehicle will be allowed to be parked outside emergency and special parking spot has been identified in the open ground opposite the Dharamshala. All vehicles coming to emergency will have to drop the patients at emergency and post that park the vehicle in the parking lot in the ground. Contractors have also been briefed on the same.

Dr Joshi also held a meeting with Resident doctors and listed to their concerns. Dr Joshi also gave strict instructions to staff on the cleanliness of the hospital premise and for improving the facilities in the premise. He expects some changes to start being visible with immediate effect.
