First ever Dance-Yoga centre in Gogunda
Foundation stone laid for dance-yoga centre in Gogunda.
Dance combined with yoga is a great combination for good health. Foundation stone for the first ever dance-yoga centre has been laid in Gogunda in the premises of Kala-Ashram Foundation on Monday.
Therapeutic combination of dance and yoga will also be used as alternative treatment which will prove to be beneficial for patients of diabetes, depression and anxiety and even obesity. As per CM of the Foundation, students of Kala Ashram will exhibit their talents on international level. They will be sponsored by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Central Cultural Ministry and Ministry of Science and Technology.
Based on “Guru-Shishya” tradition, training will be imparted on music, dance and yoga irrespective of nationality. Indian classical dance training will commence on World dance day on 29th April. There will also be performances and training imparted by famous artists and international ballet dancers on full moon day of every month. Training on Indian dances like Mohiniattam, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Odisi and Kathakali will also be provided in dance and yoga centre of Kala Ashram.
