WHM in association with Sakhi Mitva Society organised a Special health talk for girls belonging to the age group of 11-18 years at Rajkiya Madhyamik Vidhyalay, Kanpur, Madri Industrial Area on 28-2-14.

Dr. Sangita Jain (Chief Obstetrician and Gynecologist) Women Care Expert helped the girls with their queries. She discussed various problems related to adolescent girls aged 11-18 years regarding the development of their Body, Genital organs, Reproductive System, etc. She discussed about Puberche, Menarche, Thelarche and related issues. She also talked about the changing lifestyle and food habits while discussing and explaining about Diet, Nutrition, Hygiene and Yoga.

This talk was in general organised for creating Health awareness in young girls at the age of their development.

President of Sakhi Mitwa Society, Kavita Modi promised to organise more such Health Talks in future .

On this occasion Dr. Sangita Jain appreciated the efforts of the organizers saying that such health talks for females should be organized more often. She said that being a doctor she believes in service to mankind.

WHM appreciated the support, transparency and patience displayed by the school authorities in helping this event through and communicated the same to Gopal Lal Kaneria, Principal of the School.
