Udaipur is set to open its third government IVF center at the RNT Medical College, the largest in the Udaipur division. The construction is nearly complete, with final preparations underway. The tender for machinery and other requirements will be released this month, and the center will start operations once the tender process is complete.
This new center will offer free IVF treatment to childless couples who cannot afford private clinics due to financial constraints. Currently, the Government Women's Hospital in Udaipur manages IVF cases daily. Many of these couples are unable to access treatment due to high costs at private centers.
New Tenders
Dr. Vipin Mathur, Principal of RNT Medical College, confirmed that all infrastructure work has been finished. Although an earlier tender for machinery was canceled due to a lack of bidders, government approval has been secured for a new tender, which will be called soon.
