Information regarding maternal care will be passed on in the entire state through ‘Maa Folder’ which will encompass details related to safe maternity and overall health & child care.

Every district will have 10% more delivery of these folders which will be monitored at state and district level. Rajasthan Child & Maternal Health Officers issued useful instructions in this regard.

Each folder contains information including infant care, breastfeeding, food for new born, means of family welfare, cleanliness during maternity, vaccination and much more that is mandate for the mother and the new born during the entire phase.

The staff will have to teach the content of the folder in the regional language of the district.
