Dr D.P.Singh, Principal, RNT Medical college said that they have prepared the infrastructure for kidney transplant surgery unit and sent it to the directorate. This is expected to facilitate a speedy appointment of Urologist, Nephrologist and Radiographer. Efforts are on, Singh said, to ensure that kidney transplant surgery can be provided as soon as the unit becomes operational.
It may be noted that MB hospital has been without a urologist for last 9 years. The post has been vacant since Dr H.S. Khamesra retired in 2008.
