A mother’s love knows no bounds. This mother gave her kidney for her ailing son and gave a new life to him.

Geeta Devi’s son was on dialysis for the past 3 years. In the process it had become unbearable for her to see her son in pain. She offered to give her kidney to save her son from trouble. Jitendra Singh Rathore, President of Lake City Kidney Care and Relief Foundation informed that seeing Geeta Devi’s spirit, the Foundation inspired her to go ahead with her decision of donating her organ. Since there is no facility of kidney transplant in Udaipur, it was done in Ahmedabad.

Team of Dr. Jamal Rizvi, Dr. Sandeep Gupta and Dr. Sajni Khemchandani performed the process of kidney transplant. The family has been provided with financial assistance from Chief Minister, PM Jeevan Raksha Kosh and other sources of Mewar.
