Over 70 ladies screened in health camp by Women’s Hospital of Mewar

Women Hospital Mewar (unit of Mewar Hospitals) conducted a one day free camp at their premises on 6th March, 2014, where a total of 70 women were screened by specialists doctors. This camp was organised in joint cooperation with Sakhi Mitwa society at Polo Ground.

Women Hospital Mewar (unit of Mewar Hospitals) conducted a one day free camp at their premises on 6th March, 2014, where a total of 70 women were screened by specialists doctors.  This camp was organised in joint cooperation with Sakhi Mitwa society at Polo Ground.

Women Hospital Mewar or WHM as it is commonly known, is the only specialist centre dedicated to complete women care with all the facilities available for all age groups.

The WHM Medical team led by Dr. Sangeeta Jain, M.S (Chief Obstetrician and Gynaecologist) and Women Care Expert and Dr. Anjali Sethi (General and Laparoscopic Surgeon) gave free consultation to women suffering from Gynaecology problems, Kidney stone, Gallbladder stone, Female Oncology, Breast Cancer, Diabetes, Thyroid, etc.

Physiotherapist at WHM, Dr. Saloni helped the patients perform pain relief therapy through simple exerices.  Dr. Sangeeta Jain also addressed the ladies, briefing them on Healthy Diet and nutrition’s to be included in Meals that routinely cure many diseases.

Apart from the free Health Checkup, BMD, BMI, Blood Sugar and B.P tests were provided free of cost.

The WHM spokesperson said that the similar camps have been scheduled on every Sunday at different locations to benefit the residents of Udaipur.

The main focus of organising this camp, as per Kavita Modi, President, Sakhi Mitwa Society, was to help people and take benefit provided by voluntary organizing.
