Governor of Rajasthan, Shivraj V. Patil, today, addressed the 4^th Conference on Transitional Cancer Research which was held at Hotel Inder Residency.  The conference was attended by many renowned Researchers, Doctors, Scientists and people from the media.

In his speech regarding the precaution and cure of cancer, Patil stressed on the extreme exploration and encouraged measures to create more awareness about the killer disease in the common citizen.

He said that, although cancer is a fatal illness but it could be cured if timely action was taken.  A common man usually comes to know about cancer when he/she reaches the last stage.  Shivraj Patil asked the doctors and scientists to make more and more people aware of it.

The symposium started with the traditional lighting of lamp and performing the havan.  More than 200 people from around world are participating in the conference.

Prof. V. Uman delivered the welcome speech while Bharat Agarwal introduced the symposium.  Rajesh Grover welcomed and introduced the Honorary Governor and Kapil Mehta gave details about the event.
