Renowned hair transplant expert and skin specialist from Udaipur, Dr Prashant Agarwal shared his expertise on hair transplant in the form of a video presentation to the audience at the National Dermatology Conference, which was held from 18-21 January at Kochi.

His 30 minute presentation briefed the audience with know how in hair transplant technology, miscellaneuous dimensions and other rare aspects of the science. Dr Prashant, on his return from the conference, shared his experience with media, where he said that the conference gave him an opportunity to present his research on the hair transplant therapy to over 8000 medical practitioners and participants at the acclaimed conference. Main emphasis during the presentaion on hair transplant technology to the audience was FIU, or treatment without incisions or stitches, said Dr Prashant.

This was the only presentation on FIU at the conference. His presentation also included minor details like using machines, punches, depth of implantation, avoiding complications expected to be encountered during treatment, endeavoring to make the entire procedure painless, giving new hair a natural look, etc were the various other aspects elaborated by Dr Prashant in his presentation.
