Udaipur, November 27, 2024 - On Tuesday, November 26,2024, various activities were organized under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme's School Health and Wellness Program in government schools of the Udaipur district. These activities aimed to promote health awareness and wellness among students.

The program included vaccination and health check-ups for students in several schools. The Medical and Health Department conducted these activities to ensure students health and safety.

Awareness Sessions and Drama Performances

Under the program, discussions and drama performances were held on important topics such as substance abuse, gender equality, mental health, HIV prevention, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles. As part of the program, yoga and exercise sessions were also conducted in schools to encourage students to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Organizing Authorities

The event was organized under the direction of RSCERT. Dr. Mridula Tiwari, head of the division, highlighted that the School Health and Wellness Program is being implemented in all government secondary and higher primary schools in the region.
