65-Year-Olds Lead the Way in Fitness Challenge

From homemakers to professionals, participants embraced 30 days of fitness during the SummerSunGram 2025

 |

Udaipur, July 7, 2025 - Bindaas Foundation successfully organised the 4th edition of the SummerSunGram Challenge, a month-long fitness event where people are committed to staying active through cycling, walking or running. The 30-day challenge was held from June 6 to July 5, 2025. Participants had to be active for at least 20 out of the 30 days. They could choose any one activity — cycling, walking or running — and track their progress.

Hundreds of people accepted the challenge and participated in the event. They included all ages - from teenagers to senior citizens - and from different cities across India, not just Udaipur. There were participants from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Beawar, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Punjab, Haryana and Noida.

Event coordinator Bheru Singh Sisodia shared that participants came from all backgrounds — doctors, teachers, housewives, CAs and even retirees. Many were not regular athletes, but this challenge brought a powerful shift in their daily routines and mindset towards health.

All activities were tracked using the Strava app, ensuring accurate data and a transparent leaderboard. All participants who completed the challenge will be honoured soon with medals, certificates, and special prizes.
