With changing weather conditions, swine flu virus seems to be getting out of control. Reports from MB Hospital and private laboratories identified 20 new swine flu patients of Friday.

With changing weather conditions, swine flu virus seems to be getting out of control. Reports from MB Hospital and private laboratories identified 20 new swine flu patients of Friday.

There were 26 people who were tested for swine flu yesterday and 20 people were found to be swine flu positive. Report for the balance 6 people is pending. With this, the overall number of Swine flu positive patients crossed the 100 mark this year. If other districts of Udaipur division are included in the count then the number of swine flu patient has crossed 200.

Of the 20 people identified as swine flu positive yesterday, 11 are from Chittorgarh, 5 from Udaipur, 2 from Rajsamand and 2 from Madhya Pradesh.

With the rising number of swine flu patients, the swine flu ward is getting crunched for beds. Daily over 50 oxygen cylinders are being utilized for patients in this ward.

Dr Vinay Joshi, Superintendent, MB Hospital said that they are trying to bring swine flu information online so that they get up to date information about the status of swine flu ward.
