Yaman, a resident of Pune, volunteered to donate his blood to save a complete stranger’s when he, himself, was in the hospital looking out for his brother who had been hospitalized and had to receive stitches.

Some stories leave you surprised and fuel your hope for humanity. It is said that when one is in hardship, it’s hard to think of the welfare of others.

Yaman, a resident of Pune, volunteered to donate his blood to save a complete stranger’s when he, himself, was in the hospital looking out for his brother who had been hospitalized and had to receive stitches.

Yaman’s brother had received a deep cut from a glass shard and was being stitched by a nurse in a hospital at Ahmedabad when, a 10-year-old girl with a severe head injury was brought in by her father to the hospital.

The girl had lost a lot of blood and the blood bank in the hospital was out of ‘O Negative’ blood units, a blood type that both Yaman and the girl incidentally shared.
