To cure and treat seasonal ailments, state run Ayurvedic hospital has launched a four day free medicine giving camp from 24-26 August at State Ayurveda College and Hospital, Moti Chohta Udaipur.
‘Kahda’ prepared from the mixture of various herbs and medicinal plants is available free of cost for everyone. Anyone can visit the hospital between 9 am to 12 noon and get the benefit of age old traditional Indian medicine.
The camp was inaugurated by Prof. Mahesh Dixit, Chief Officer and is managed by Dr. Niranjan Vyas – Senior Doctor (Ayurveda). Dr. Vyas has warned people against the present climatic chaos which can cause several diseases, some very common like flu.
Rainy season brings peace and happiness along with illness but precautions can easily cure us.
While explaining the cause of high risk in rainy season Dr. Niranjan Vyas said, “in Rainy days, our physical strength constantly decline, our digestive system also becomes weak and all natural water sources gets infected, high number of mosquitoes are found in this season. Moreover, deadly viruses get active in this season, causing all major illnesses”.
“Safety measures should be taken even in our eating habits; green vegetables, cold drinks, yoghurt are a few things which should be avoided”, said Dr. Niranjan Vyas. “All measures should be taken to keep our house clean and insecticides should be used to avoid mosquitoes and other insects”, added Dr. Vyas while talking to us.
Dr. Vyas explained that the Khada which they are providing at the camp will definitely help people in protecting them but they have to take additional precautions to save themselves from seasonal diseases.
