Udaipur Runs for Heart: Marathon held on World Heart Day
Over 2000 health conscious citizens joined the “Run for Heart” Marathon today morning at Lake Fateh Sagar on the occasion of World Heart Day.
Over 2000 health conscious citizens joined the “Run for Heart” Marathon today morning at Lake Fateh Sagar on the occasion of World Heart Day.
With the slogan of – “Run for Heart – One World, One Home, One Heart”, the marathon was organized under the joint association of GBH American Hospital and Vedanta Hindustan Zinc. The participants, including school and college students, Military and NCC, Home guards, Traffic Police personnel and employees of GBH Hospital and Vedanta took part in the event.
Inaugurated by Additional Megistrate B.R Bhati, the run started from the Devali Side of Fatehsagar Paal and concluded at Moti Magri Gate.
Dr. Dev Kothari (Managing Director), Dr. Vallabh Parikh (Medical Director, CEO) and Anand Jha (COO) of GBH American were also present to encourage all the runners.
From HZL- Vedanta, H.K Mehta (Senior Vice President) and Dr. Bhandari (Medical Officer) were present to make the event successful.
According to GBH American Hospital, by conducting such activities at a broader level, the hospital wishes to dedicate the year 2012 as the year of CVD Prevention among women and children.
