Administration of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technical Studies (MPUAT) faced stern opposition from student union who kept the university and all allied college closed for a day and handed over a letter to the university registrar.

Administration of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technical Studies (MPUAT) faced stern opposition from student union who kept the university and all allied college closed for a day and handed over a letter to the university registrar.

The students expressed several demands regarding the security and infrastructure of the college, and warned the administration to take positive action within a week or the union may call upon an indefinite strike.

Out of several demands, students want Wi-Fi facility in MPUAT, return of the fees paid by engineering students after the fee charges were reduced, I.D Card of every student, Canteen facility, Life Insurance of every students, fund for placement etc.

For the purpose, Central Student Union leader ISHI Upadhyay, Chief Secreatary Raghav Sharma and other student leaders reached the office of registrar and expressed their anguish.

Students also demanded justice to the girl residing in hostel who was subjected to mental trauma a few days ago.

College administration has assured the students that their demands will be taken seriously and will solve all the issues as soon as possible.
