A 62 year old eve teaser has been arrested by Sukher police on Monday.

Eve teasing incidents are very common. We get to hear of youngsters passing lewd remarks to females while walking on road or while shopping in mall etc. etc. The incident that draws attention here is not about a youngster but about an aged man.

This 62 year old Narendra Sancheti resident of Shanti Nagar Roop Sagar road has been nabbed by Sukher police for harassing a female from the same colony. A 54 year old woman from Shanti Nagar was being constantly teased and harassed by Narendra Sancheti s/o Mangilal Sancheti. She sent her complaint via post to SP on 12^th August. As per her complaint, 62 year old Narendra Sancheti who lived across the 30 feet road between their houses was constantly harassing her by making indecent actions and singing inappropriate songs. The complainant wrote that whenever she was in her kitchen, Narendra Sancheti would try to grab her attention by whistling loudly. The lady informed her husband about this. Her husband along with the neighbours tried to explain to the accused that he shouldn’t be doing so. Narendra paid no heed to their requests and continued with the same. She requested police to take action against this man at the earliest.

Police arrested Narendra Sancheti on Monday and presented him before the court.
