The issue which erupted as volcano in the Mohan Lal Sukhadia University was the talk of the campus today. Kushal Parmar, who elected from ABVP and won the president seat of the University College of Law, was found short of 4 marks to pass in the original marks-sheet issued to him.
While, he was shown as Pass in the online marks-sheet provided to him by the University before the university elections concluded in last month of Aug.
The issue was fueled by Chatra Sangharsh Samiti (CSS), when Surya Prakash Suhalka, Co-ordinator, CSS, reached the Vice-Chancellor’s office along with his supporters complaining that, how come Parmar’s candidature was accepted when there was such a big non-conformance.
A heated argument also took place in the VC office between Anand Paliwal, Dean, University College of Law and Surya Prakash Suhalka.
Pankaj Parihar, who lost the seat against Parmar, further alleged Anand Paliwal in front of the Vice-Chancellor for threatening to debar him if he reports the issue to the Vice-Chancellor.
Later, the Vice-Chancellor assured the students that the matter will be taken seriously and directed the R. C. Kumawat, In-charge, Secrecy, to sort out the matter soon.
Later in the evening, when UT approached R. C. Kumawat, he said, “the agency which is assigned the task of preparing results and mark-sheets is the defaulter in this case. The candidate was provided grace marks in the online marks-sheet, however by mistake the final Original mark-sheet was not updated. The agency will be penalized and fined for the negligence”.
