The chemical waste enters rivers and other water bodies during rainy season. Villagers have filed a collective complaint against Macsen Laboratories on Wednesday with Hiran Magri police station.

As per the report, the chemical waste is highly poisonous. Till date, factory owners have not found a proper way of disposing this waste. The water bodies are now polluted and poisonous as a result more than 50 animals have died. Many animals are falling sick. Even human life is in danger. Health is in for a great danger because of this chemical waste. Macsen Laboratories makes dyes. A big quantity of chemicals is used in making dyes. These dyes are used to check leakages in other industries. As a rule, no industry or factory is allowed to dispose waste in open or in any water body or drains. As per the villagers, Macsen Laboratories is disposing its waste on the land that is registered as pasture.

Regional officer Pollution Control Board B R Panwar said that no complaint has been received by his office so far. He said he would investigate the matter tomorrow. If the complaints and reports go against the factory, the Board will take legal action against the factory. Disposing the waste in an inappropriate manner is against rules.
