Bail denied to property dealer-Case of cheating and harassment
Property dealer's bail plea rejected by Rajasthan High Court.
A property dealer has been denied anticipatory bail by Rajasthan High Court for cheating and harassing a woman.
Shashank Sharma s/o Ram Sharan Sharma resident of I-Road Bhupalpura applied for anticipatory bail in Rajasthan High Court which was rejected. Prior to this, the bail plea was rejected on 5th August by District and Session Judge in Udaipur as well.
A widow had filed a complaint against Shashank Sharma for cheating and misbehaving, both. The report was filed with Sukher police station as per which Shashank had cheated the lady by taking 5 lakh rupees for investment in some property in the lady’s name. He did not invest the money as promised. When the lady asked him to return the amount, Shashank called her to a lonely place and touched her indecently. He even pressurised her to establish physical relations with his friend.
Shashank Sharma is originally from Beawar. He is living in Udaipur since long and working as property dealer. He also owns a shop in Celebration Mall in the name of Tanishka Trends. As per the lady’s report, case has been registered against Shashank and his bail plea has been rejected by court.
