The call for Rajasthan Bandh led by Samta Andolan Samiti and Jago Party to oppose the proposed amendment in Reservation in Promotion, received a mixed reaction as some establishments, including educational and commercial, preferred to remain open while others declared it a holiday.
Volunteers of Samta Andolan Samiti made human chain at Delhi Gate to support the cause and demonstrate solidarity.
