Nationwide Strike announced by the All India Bank Employees Association on June 24 has been postponed indefinitely
Nationwide Strike announced by the All India Bank Employees Association on June 24 has been postponed indefinitely.
As per information given by National Secretary DK Jain, the members of the AIBEA have decided to postpone their strike, following non responsiveness to their demands and concerns, by the management at SBI.
The association has demanded that the associated banks of SBI be separated from SBI, since employees of the associated Banks are being treated in a diminutive manner and the management is autocratic in behavior. Following no positive response, the association had decided to mark a nationwide strike.
However, members of the association have now decided to ramp up their demonstrations and will be having discussions with the Central Government and Finance Ministry on the matter, before deciding their next course of action.
