We have heard of bike stunts at Rani Road and Fatehsagar area. But this time the shocking part is that bikers have been performing stunts in one of the major areas of the city. To top it all, there is a police station near that area but police is unaware of the ‘stunt’ations.

Late night, bikers were noticed performing stunts at Surajpole. These bikers continued with their stunts for around 10 minutes but police who was hardly 20 metres away did not notice any of these activities. Sounds of screeching brakes and accelerators attracted the attention of passersby who were shocked to see these stunts in the middle of the city.

As reported, there were 2 bikes of 150 CC each and a regular bike. There were 6 youths on these bikes who had started performing their bike stunts. These youths saw public passing by and continued with their stunts. One photo journalist noticed these bikers and clicked their pictures. Noticing this, the bikers sped away from the place.

When SI Surajpole police came to know about this incident, he said that there is shortage of staff and probably the one on duty at Surajpole was away on a night watch in nearby areas. Investigations are on and strict action will soon be taken.
