A property builder has been penalised for faulty construction in Sector 9. As per reports, residents of Crystal plaza in Sector 9 reported that the builder and his partners promised to provide facilities like CCTV cameras, Video door phone, Earthquake resistant construction, garden and some more facilities. The plaza has 24 flats out of which 20 are occupied. As per the residents, they have not been provided with the promised facilities. Apart from this, when they started living in the flats, they discovered that water was oozing out of the ceiling. RCC work is very faulty in all the flats.

They even complained that 1300 rupees are taken per month for maintenance which is never done. The builder had given the responsibility of maintenance to someone who did not bother to look into maintenance at all. Consumer Forum has henceforth penalised the builder for faulty construction.
