Protests and rallies by various social groups and general public against the Delhi gang rape case continued nationwide today also. In Udaipur, students from MPUAT and CTAE participated in a candle march and prayed for the departed soul of the victim.

Protests and rallies by various social groups and general public against the Delhi gang rape case continued nationwide today also. In Udaipur, students from MPUAT and CTAE participated in a candle march and prayed for the departed soul of the victim.

March started from Swaroop Sagar where students shouted slogans against the culprits and walked towards Fateh Sagar with banners and posters in their hands. MPUAT president Rishi Upadhyay said that in our nation, where women are treated as God, such an incident is very unfortunate and extremely criminal.

University Joint Secretary Priyanka Sharama said, “To make sure that such incidents never happen again, we must pressurize government to make stronger laws”. President of Student Union, Mayank Kumar said, “Our judicial process and whole system is very slow. Culprits must be given a strong punishment as soon as possible”.
