Debris dumped in Ayad flow not yet removed
Debris in the path of flow of water into Ayad can be troublesome.
Debris was dumped in the region of flow of Ayad river. It was supposed to be removed completely but the removal work has been done only for namesake.
A highway is under construction on Kaya-Debari bypass. The contractor of National highway authority dumped the debris from this area into the path of flow of Ayad river. ADM Administration had instructed the contractors to remove the debris from this region. The contractor reportedly deployed machines to remove the debris but the work was done only for namesake. A lot of quantity is still lying in the area of Ayad flow.
Seeing the danger it can cause, Water Resource department wrote to the National Highway and asked for the debris to be removed. The department has also been alerted of the oncoming danger if the debris is not removed. Because of the debris blocking the path of water inflow, a lot of water had flown out on the road just two days back.
If the debris is not removed, water will find its path on the road creating a flood like situation which can prove to be extremely troublesome.
