Udaipur District Cricket Club (UDCC) members demanded legal action against Ravindra Pal Singh ‘Kappu’ who was allegedly involved in a scuffle that broke out in a Veteran’s cricket match last week at Field Club.
Members of the UDCC met District Collector V. S. Bhale, and S. P. (city) Hariprasad Sharma and gave memorandum against Ravindral Pal Singh Kappu and insisted action against him.
Members of the club charged Kappu for giving false reports in media about the mishap and alleged that his main aim is to set post in UDCA (Udaipur District Cricket Association), but Kappu neither has any registered cricket club nor he has been recognized by the UDCA as a member of the Udaipur District Cricket Association. They also alleged that Kappu is trying to make this a communal issue.
Shahid Khan of the association said that RCA (Rajasthan Cricket Association) has recognized total 38 cricket clubs in Udaipur, all these clubs constitute UDCA, of which General Secretary is Mahendra Sharma and President is Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar.
The club members also criticized Kappu’s alleged involvement in UDCA issues. District Collector and SP assured the members of the association to investigate the matter and bring justice.
Kappu has already lodged complaint against three people for allegedly assaulting him.
