District bar Association lawyers have once again warned administration of their upcoming protest. Demands of High Court bench have gone unheard of since the last 35 years. On Wednesday, the lawyers held a meeting instead of attending court and declared their “Do or Die” policy. Divisional Coordinator of High Court bench and former legislator Shantilal Chaplot declared a hunger strike on this day. Bar Association President speaking on the occasion mentioned that the association will not approach any minister or political leader for having its demands fulfilled. He said that the association will have its demands fulfilled anyhow.

Former legislator in the meeting said that promises of government will not be accepted. Bar association wants results as promises are long overdue. Around 200 lawyers did a show down yesterday. It has been reported that the protest agenda will be decided on 12th February in Divisional Committee meeting. Support of all communities, NGOs, business organisations and student union is solicited for the protest.
