Doctors Call off Strike after being given assurance
The All Rajasthan Resident Doctors Association have called-off their strike today after the assurance towards quick fulfillment for their three major demands. The assurance was given by Raja Babu Parmar, Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan Health University.
The All Rajasthan Resident Doctors Association have called-off their strike today after the assurance towards quick fulfillment for their three major demands. The assurance was given by Raja Babu Parmar, Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan Health University.
As informed by Dr. Dharam Singh, Vice President, Resident Doctors Association, “A written assurance was given by Raja Babu regarding our two demands of crediting the due salary payments in our account and not changing the exam patterns in the mid-terms. He also assured us verbally about taking proper action against the incident of ‘attack on resident doctors’ ”.
The Resident Doctors were on protest regarding their demands of their due salary from past 7 months, the University changing the exam patterns in mid-terms and taking proper actions against the ones involved in the attack on resident doctors.
The Doctors subsequently returned to their normal routine and duties after 9PM today.
