Members of Jai Mewar Durga Garba Samiti, Samrat Club, Mewar Sena, Shri Annpurna Mata Seva Samiti, Dharmotsav Samiti, Jai Durga Vikas Samiti, Ganesh Navyuvak Mandal, Lions Club, etc. were present during the protest.
The members of the Mandals reached the Collectorate with Dinesh Bhatt, the BJP (Udaipur City) President; Chanchal Kumar Agarwal (BJP, Media Incharge); Jinendra Shastri (BJYM) President; Udai Lal Nainava, Ramlal Sahu, Kamlesh Daya, Rajesh Daya, and Lokesh Vaishnav.
They asked Additional SP Anant Kumar to let them talk to the SP Hari Prasad Sharma and after some argument Dinesh Bhatt discussed and submitted the demands to SP.
Demands of Garba Mandals
Garba mandals demanded the administration to increase time of the Garbas, to reschedule the date of ‘Pratima Visarjan’ to 25th October and co-operation of police with the Garba Mandals.
