The Jain Community of Udaipur has appealed for half day bandh on 24th August after Rajasthan HC held Jain religious ritual Santhara (fast unto death) akin to suicide.
The Jain Community of Udaipur has appealed for half day bandh on 24th August after Rajasthan HC held Jain religious ritual Santhara (fast unto death) akin to suicide.
The decision was taken by the Jain Community which held meeting under the banner of Mahaveer Jain Parishad. Chief Rajkumar Fattawat informed that the students of the community will take holiday from school, business will remain shut for half day and service workers will take half day holiday from their respective jobs.
The Jain community members will meet at Town Hall on Monday at 10.30 AM from where they will organize a mute rally to the collectorate and hand over a memorandum in the name of President and Governor.
