Denying all the charges of hiring laborers to act as a congress party workers and then duping them as false and baseless; District Congress members named the incident ‘groupism’ and ‘conspiracy’ to defame the party image.

28 laborers had lodged a police complaint, after being allegedly subjected to defraud by a congressman, who hired them to welcome Dr. C.P. Joshi, Central Minister on his arrival to Udaipur few days back.

Praveen Purohit, of District Congress Committee said that Dr. C.P. Joshi is not a leader who accepts any garlands from his well wishers, although he will bow down in admiration to his supporters. Purohit said, “the whole incident is a complete lie and political conspiracy to tarnish the image of a popular leader”.

The congress party workers said that the incident was completely regrettable and done out of groupism in party, the higher officials of congress in New Delhi and Jaipur are informed about the incident.

District Congress party workers Jaswant Tank, Kamalnayan Khandelwal, Prem Ghavri, Sarika Singh, Ankita Vaishya and Praveen Purohit. jointly released the statement and denied the incident as false conspiracy.
