MLSU Vice Chancellor, Professor Indravardan Trivedi has indicated to take strict action against students who are irregular in classes.

MLSU Vice Chancellor, Professor Indravardan Trivedi has indicated to take strict action against students who are irregular in classes.

Department of Journalism conducted an experimental ‘Press Conference’ for students as part of the curriculum and invited vice-chancellor, Prof. I.V Trivedi and registrar Dr. L.N Mantri for a conversation with students on various issues and topics related to the university.

When asked about the experience of being Vice Chancellor of MLSU, Prof. Trivedi said that it is a challenging job but with the assistance of faculties and students, the work becomes less complicated.

Prof. Trivedi said, “We have appointed faculties in all the vacant posts and are trying to increase presence of students in classes.”

“Students who are irregular will be blacklisted and we are also thinking to put names of such students on our official websites”, stated prof. Trivedi.

On the question of reformation in quality education, Prof. Trivedi said that MLSU is one of the recognized universities in India and it stands ideal in the guidelines of UGC (University Grants Commission).

While talking on the famous term ‘Peer Pressure’, Dr. Mantri said that the use of Peer Pressure can give them strength, every student will have to attend classes regularly; if faculty is not there then students can complain administration.

Continuing the discussion, Prof Trivedi said that they want to create a highly educative environment in the university for which they often organized educational programs, seminars and workshops.

In the start of the discussion program, in-charge of journalism department, Dr. Kunjan Acharya informed the students regarding personal interview and press conference.
