Kuwait gets strict with illicit Visa Sponsors
While the investigation committee in Farwaniya Governorate is interrogating the detained Indian immigrants arrested on September 20th raid, the Kuwait’s Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has marked 135 employers for their involvement in alleged visa racketeering.

According to Arab Times, over 350 employers’ files are under suspension for violation of rules; the employers have been identified in a recent raid that resulted in the arrest of nearly 2000 Indian workers on Khadim Visa.
Many of the detainees have been deported to India while many others are still awaiting verdict by Kuwaiti authorities.
Reports also says that administration has also started raiding the residences of sponsors who provide Visas to these immigrants and later set them free to do any work, which they were not authorized to do under the Khadim Visa. As per the news reports, the investigation will continue and more raids will be done to crackdown all unlawful activities in Kuwait.
