Lake Conservation Committee appeals to resolve No Construction Zone Law

Organizations working for the conservation of lakes have appealed the new would-be governmental officer Gulabchand Kataria to take swift action regarding the ongoing issue of “No Construction Zone” for all neighborhoods located around lakes.

Organizations working for the conservation of lakes have appealed the new would-be governmental officer Gulabchand Kataria to take swift action regarding the ongoing issue of “No Construction Zone” for all neighborhoods located around lakes.

The organizations, including Lake Conservation Committee, Mohan Singh Mehta Memorial Trust, Chandpol Nagrik Samiti and Jwala Jan Jagriti Sansthan requested Kataria to clear the issue.

All eligible applicants of No Construction Zone should be permitted of construction, expansion and renovation of their houses. They are concerned about the partiality going on in this issue, thus request the would-be deputy chief minister Gulabchand Kataria to resolve the issue and clear the confusion of common people.

Anil Mehta of Lake Conservation Committee said that the first court order is regarding No Construction Zone was passed in 1997. According to Municipal Corporation Regulations. The law is not applied to any land and residents approved before the sanctions.

But civic authorities have allegedly permitted construction to those who are not eligible and stopped those who are actually authorized.

Now since the newly elected party is going to form government in Rajasthan, all NGOs working for the conservation of lakes wants this prolong matter to get resolve.
