The cot (palna) placed outside Pannadhay Maternity Hospital, MB Hospital has received yet another baby, abandoned by his unfortunate parents. The baby boy who is safely taken under the custody of Maa Bhawati Vikas Sansthan has been sent to Mahesh Ashram.

According to Devendra Agarwal of Mahesh Ashram, the baby was found today early morning at 4.40am. After medical checkup, it was found that the infant is 10-15 days old and has no physical deformity or illness.

This is the third baby found in the past seven days as two other baby girls were found on 26th and 28th Oct. Mahesh Ashram is now home for 16 infants who were found abandoned either in the palna outside the hospital or at other places.

Devendra Agarwal further said that, these abandoned babies are fortunate as they are safe and being taken care of at Mahesh Ashram whereas many such babies are found dead after being dumped in a garbage container or are left out for stray animals.
