The process of installing idol on other places, including Fatehsagar and Deen Dayal Upadhya has already passed tender process, while Meera Bai’s statue is still waiting for approval from District Collector.
According to Dr. Savita Joshi, Principle, Meera Girls College, “Being a state governed college, approval is required for any type of construction. College management has already forwarded the file for completing the required process.”
In the words of UMC officials,”Another statue of Swami Vivekanand has been already ordered, while Deen Dayal Upadhaya’s proposed for Dudh Talai would be taking practical shapes in coming months, whereas in absence of approval notice from Meera Girls College it is being delayed.”
